Qualifications and experience

  • Self motivated, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and respect.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and other callers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Attending to patient enquiries, liaising with doctors, pharmacists and other health professionals, and supporting staff.
  • Having knowledge of MBS item numbers and billing procedures.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the medical centre and completing the various administrative tasks promptly.
  • Maintaining professionalism and adhering to strict confidentiality of patient and business information at all times.
  • Adapting to various workloads.
