Rural Practice Essentials (RPE) is a practical, policy informed professional development program designed to support rural and remote allied health clinicians and practice owners to understand the factors that shape health service delivery and to apply evidence-based strategies to build sustainable services.

NQPHN, in partnership with the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) invites EOIs from aged care nurses for fully funded scholarship opportunities:

  • Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Aged Care Nursing) (NS32)
  • Master of Nurse Practitioner (NS90)

These scholarships support nurses seeking to undertake advanced study and strengthen the delivery of primary health care services across our region.

NQPHN invites expressions of interest from GPs working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs), Aboriginal Medical Services (AMS) or general practices across northern Queensland to access partially funded ALS training.

Subsidised places are available for eligible participants. Places are limited.

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network invites expressions of interest from rural and remote Aboriginal Medical Services (AMSs) and general practices in Modified Monash Model (MMM) 4-7 locations across the NQPHN region to participate in the Virtual Integrated Practice (VIP) program.

The VIP program aims to strengthen the general practitioner (GP) workforce and enhance long-term sustainability for practices in MMM 4–7 areas.
