OneNQ: Bursary program
The OneNQ bursary program helps eligible primary healthcare workers, support staff, students, and organisations overcome financial barriers to professional development, wellbeing activities, and OneNQ events across northern Queensland.
- Attendance at OneNQ events in Cairns or Cooktown.
- Attendance at OneNQ regional sector integration forums.
- Professional development and wellbeing activities aligned with OneNQ priorities.
Depending on the bursary stream, funding may contribute to travel, accommodation, childcare, training, wellbeing initiatives, or professional support expenses.
Funding is limited. Applications are assessed against the eligibility criteria, available funding and alignment with OneNQ priorities. Priority is given to applicants who face the greatest barriers to taking part.
Eligible applicants may include:
- Healthcare professionals
- Healthcare support staff
- Students within 12 months of graduation
- Organisations seeking support for an eligible wellbeing initiative
Applicants must provide, support or intend to provide primary healthcare services in the Northern Queensland Primary Health Network region. Each bursary stream has additional eligibility requirements.
