Primary care services play a vital role in maintaining access to healthcare before, during and after a disaster. To help strengthen local preparedness and resilience, NQPHN’s Disaster Management workshops are now underway across the region.
The workshops bring together general practices, primary care providers, and key stakeholders to explore emergency preparedness, business continuity planning, and practical strategies for maintaining services during times of disruption.
Workshops have already commenced in Proserpine and Mackay, with additional sessions scheduled across northern Queensland in the coming weeks.
