Our operating hours for our nurse are flexible between Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, fun, and professional Practice Nurse to join growing our dynamic team.
Qualifications and experience
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable and open to change and innovation.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Previous experience in General Practice.
- Knowledge of childhood and adult immunisations.
- Experience in chronic disease management.
- Computer skills (experience with Best Practice is highly desirable but not essential).
- Ability to multi-task and manage workflow in a treatment room.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Patient triage and management – Medicare , DVA, Work Cover.
- Administer immunisations and other injections.
- Perform ECGs, spirometry, and ear syringing.
- Conduct wound management procedures and assist GPs during minor surgeries.
- Develop care plans, conduct health assessments, and support patients with chronic illnesses.
- Sterilize equipment.
- Conduct pre-employment assessments, audiometry, and spirometry.
