The role
As the first point of contact, you will manage the front desk and ensure daily clinic operations run smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients warmly and managing check-ins.
- Answering phones and triaging patient inquiries.
- Scheduling appointments and managing doctor calendars.
- Processing billing, Medicare claims, and private health insurance.
- Managing patient files, scanning, and digital data entry.
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
About you
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, empathetic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful, you must have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist.
- Strong proficiency in medical software Best Practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and Medicare billing processes.
