Paediatric Palliative Care – Session 7: Role of allied health in community across setting

Objective

To build a National paediatric palliative care community of practice.  Specific aims are to both enhance confidence & capability as well as create a supportive environment for health, education and community professionals caring for children and young people with life limiting conditions and their families.

Network aim: To build a National paediatric palliative care community of practice.  Specific aims are to both enhance confidence & capability as well as create a supportive environment for health, education and community professionals caring for children and young people with life limiting conditions and their families.

This Community of Practice relies on case discussions to draw upon the collective knowledge of group members, to collaboratively unpack complexities and problem solve.  

3rd Wednesday of the month, 3-4pm AEST

This interprofessional community of practice is led by:

  • Alyson Gundry – Allied Health Clinical Lead, E-PPCS and Allied Health Clinical Educator with the QuoCCA
  • Dr Freya Nicholas – Consultant Paediatrician, PPCS
  • Michelle Noyes, NP Children’s Oncology, Haematology & Palliative Care, GCUH
