Is your practice ready for electronic prescribing?

Electronic prescribing has been rolling out around the country, with a priority focus on the COVID-19 affected areas.

North Queensland GPs are now permitted to issue electronic prescriptions via the token model. Practices are urged to contact their software vendors to have the update installed to allow this functionality.

The Australian Digital Health Agency has provided a checklist to help practices get ready. We encourage all practice managers to complete this checklist and contact the NQPHN Digital Health Team by emailing digitalhealth@nqphn.com.au if you require any assistance.
