First Nations outcomes – tender opening soon

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (PHN), Western Queensland PHN, and Northern Territory PHN are working together to improve how outcomes are measured for Federal Government-funded health programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, recognising the limits of current mainstream methods.

Together, the PHNs are supporting a new project to explore methods for measuring program outcomes that are culturally appropriate and meaningful to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. This project builds on existing work, using previous insights to guide its approach rather than repeating what has already been done. A key part of this project is testing these new methods locally. The goal is to help PHN-funded programs better understand and demonstrate their impact through methods that are grounded in strong cultural governance. NQPHN will soon open a tender process to select an organisation to develop culturally safe and meaningful outcome measures through this initiative via our eTenderBox portal. We encourage all interested stakeholders to register on the eTenderBox portal to stay informed about the tender release and key application dates.

When you are registered for the eTenderBox portal, you will be automatically notified when the tender opens for applications. The portal is where you can access all relevant program details, including key milestones, submission guidelines, eligibility criteria, and stay up to date on market briefings and evaluation timelines.
