Mental Health Stepped Care Procurement: The RFI is now live!

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) is excited to announce that a process to procure a new network of mental health stepped care service providers has now commenced.

The Request for Information (RFI) is the first of a two-stage process. The RFI opened today, Tuesday 26 September, and closes at 2pm on Friday 13 October 2023.

NQPHN is taking a strengths-based approach to procuring services and encourages service providers, individual clinicians, and community agencies to consider what they already do well that could be leveraged and enhanced through this procurement activity.

NQPHN is interested in the full range of service providers participating in this procurement process, from sole clinicians to large service providers, and everything in between! In addition, community centres and other agencies who may not see themselves as traditional mental health services, but who support people with mental health needs, are encouraged to participate in this process.

To assist interested providers and agencies, a two-page information sheet has been developed and can be found here

The RFI documentation can be accessed through NQPHN’s eTenderBox portal, which can be found here. Providers and agencies will need to register an account with eTenderBox to access the RFI information.

Virtual market briefings

Three online market briefing sessions will be held to provide context to the RFI, an understanding of the RFI requirements and submission process, and information regarding the collaborative dialogue process for successful applications. Providers and agencies will also be able to ask questions.

Market briefings are voluntary to attend. Providers and agencies only need to attend one session. Once registered, a Microsoft Teams link will be sent to the nominated email address.

Sessions details:

Thursday 28 September 2023

Wednesday 4 October 2023

Friday 6 October 2023

Have questions?

Throughout the RFI process questions or clarifications must be submitted through the eTenderBox portal. Please do not contact NQPHN directly.

We look forward to continuing to work with you throughout this important and exciting process.
