Allied health provider organisations can apply for a grant to enhance their digital health capability

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) is excited to announce the Digital Capability Building Grants Program, funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.  

This initiative supports allied health provider organisations in northern Queensland (MMM 5-7 regions) to strengthen digital health governance, improve data security, and enhance patient care.  

This is a once-off opportunity for organisations to enhance their digital capability and deliver seamless, high-quality care to their communities. 

Key points of the grants 

  • Up to $10,000 (GST exc) available per provider organisation 

  • Funding for digital health improvements such as:

    • clinical information systems

    • secure messaging systems

    • digital literacy skills enhancement

    • patient access to digital health 

  • Open to allied health provider organisations delivering multidisciplinary care to eligible communities.

Important dates 

Applications are open now (from Friday 21 March 2025). 

  • Applications close: Sunday 13 April 2025 

  • Outcome notifications: 24 April 2025 

  • Final report due: 15 June 2025
