People accessing alcohol and other drug (AOD) services often face higher risks of sexually transmissible infections (STIs) and blood-borne viruses (BBVs). Nurses and midwives play a vital role in reducing these risks by integrating sexual health into everyday care.
Presented in collaboration with ASHM – the peak body representing the BBV and STI workforce in Australia – and the Drug & Alcohol Nurses of Australasia (DANA) this two-part webinar series will provide practical insights, real-world examples, and peer perspectives to help you enhance STI and BBV testing, treatment, and engagement in AOD settings. Learn about emerging issues, explore case studies, and innovative nursing models of care.
