The Queensland Health RHD Program is hosting bimonthly virtual education sessions to provide clinical education to health professionals who support people living with acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD).
This session is presented by Dr Tonia Marquardt, Public Health Medical Officer, and will address topics:
- When to suspect ARF and RHD
- Next steps after suspecting ARF and RHD
- Diagnosing ARF and RHD
- Notifying ARF and RHD
Staff involved in the care and support of people with ARF and RHD, and those who would like to learn more on this topic, are strongly encouraged to attend.
We appreciate that the scheduled time will not suit everyone, however, we invite you to register and pre-submit any questions you would like answered during the recorded session.
