An exciting opportunity is available for a General Practitioner to join our busy mixed-billing practice in Kirwan, Townsville North Queensland. We are MM2 and pride ourselves in providing high-quality primary care services. We have long-term (over 40 year) relationships with many of our patients – we have seen five generations of over 18 families. We provide chronic disease management for most conditions as well as skin cancer treatments with a dedicated theatre. We enjoy preventative medicine and try to look patients from shortly after conception to those over 100 years old.
You’ll be supported by experienced nurses, administrative staff, and allied health professionals in a collaborative and friendly environment. This position offers flexibility, well equipped facilities, and an opportunity to build your own patient base in a specific area of interest.
We have a close affiliation with James Cook University and take students at various times during their course and are an accredited teaching practice for all levels of post-graduation GP training.

Eligibility criteria
- Must have completed FRACGP or FACRRM.
- VR General Practitioner.
- Should hold General or Specialist registration with AHPRA.
- Unlimited working rights in Australia.
