Edmonton Family Medical Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on an ongoing basis. This position has opened due to practice growth, and we are looking for someone who can continue with us long term. Permanent position offering 30-38hrs per week. Pay is negotiable depending on experience
What you’ll be doing
- Providing care to patients, administering medications, dressings and various clinical procedures
- Collaborating with the clinical team to co-ordinate patient care
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Participating in continuous professional development
- Assisting with the management of patient appointments, including triaging, scheduling and record-keeping
What we’re looking for
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in a general practice or primary care setting, preferably within the last 2-3 years
- Experience with immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management and health assessments
- Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia, CPR certification and basic life support training
- Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health record systems
