Alfa Medical and Skin Clinic, a modern, privately owned clinic in Cairns North, is seeking a passionate and experienced General Practitioner to join our dedicated team.
Employer: Australia Health Pty Ltd T/A Alfa Medical & Skin Clinic.
Salary: $160,000 to $180,000.
Key responsibilities
- Examine patients and take medical histories.
- Diagnose illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribe medications and treatments.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and medical interventions.
- Provide emergency and urgent medical care.
- Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Refer patients to medical specialists when required.
- Administer vaccinations and immunisations.
- Conduct health screenings and preventive care assessments.
- Counsel patients on health, lifestyle, and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records.
- Complete medical certificates and statutory reports.
Requirements
- Registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience as a GP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Understanding of Medicare and Australian healthcare system preferred.
