This will be done in partnership with the Queensland Health Clinical Skills Development Service, with the anticipated primary delivery method being eLearning. The SREG was convened late last year and includes consumers who have provided input both during meetings and out of session, through feedback on draft documentation.
The first subject course being developed is haemodialysis vascular access (arteriovenous fistulas and grafts), including but not limited to, introduction, pre and post-op considerations, discharge planning, cannulation, and ongoing care and maintenance.
Material is being collated and the package will be available after Easter, with a short turnaround for feedback. We would welcome feedback from your organisation as stakeholder, appreciating the time and commitment this would entail.
