Welcome to the next Cairns Group meeting held monthly on the first Monday or Tuesday of each month. All GPs across the region are welcome to attend in person or virtually.
A practical guide for GPs: Dr Katie Williamson and Dr Katherine Holzhauser will step through the assessment and management process they use at Kaleidoscope Clinic. The focus will be on adult ADHD with some inclusion and discussion on the paediatrics population.
Local GPs, Dr Kat and Dr Katie founded Kaleidoscope Clinic in Cairns one year ago, stemming from an interest in supporting patients with neurodivergent conditions. The clinic has grown exponentially, and following legislative changes in December 2025 they are currently at capacity and are no longer able to see new patients due to long waiting lists. GP to GP, they are passionate about supporting their peers in developing skills, processes and confidence in seeing patients with ADHD. Both are current members of AADPA, the RACGP SiG (ADHD, ASD and neurodiversity) and founding members of the QLD ADHD GP Alliance.
