CTMC are currently looking for a GP to join their team that consists of two full time doctors, two practice nurses, and  four admininstration staff.

Hours and conditions can be negotiated upon application.

Clinic hours are:

  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm 
  • Saturdays, 8.30am-12pm 
  • Sundays and public holidays closed.

In this role you will build your research skills and play a pivotal part in advancing research continuity by working closely with various stakeholders to identify and cultivate research areas aimed at enhancing health, services, and workforce outcomes. You'll also be responsible for fostering strong, trusting relationships with partners, communities, knowledge holders, and Traditional Custodians to bolster our research endeavours. Your contribution will extend to providing support to facilitate the delivery of research proposals, reports, and scientific papers, as well as actively engaging in research investigations to drive impactful outcomes.

James Cook University (JCU) is offering an exciting opportunity for an Associate Professor in Indigenous Health to join their world-leading institution. A full-time continuing appointment, this position is based in Emerald. 

The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor, Indigenous Health works closely with the Director and the CQCRRH leadership team to ensure a successful health workforce pipeline, student placements; improve access, participation and success for Indigenous students in health-related careers and provide expertise in Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge.

A key role will be to vitalise rural and remote Indigenous student participation in health career programs, promote cultural competency and embed Indigenous perspectives into clinical placements, CPD and CQCRRH health workforce programs.
