SmartClinics is Queensland's leading operator of General Practice (GP) medical centres, with 25 practices located across Cairns, Townsville, Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast. Primary responsibilities
- Assist with GP management plans.
- Assist with healthcare assessments.
- Immunisations for children/adults.
- Travel vaccinations.
- Wound management.
- Pre-employment medicals including: Drug testing, audiology, spirometry.
- Workplace injuries from local industrial areas.
- ECG.
- Assisting GPs with treatment room duties.
- Planning and management of patient care and patient advocacy.
- Infection control management.
- Chronic disease management.
Desired skills and experience
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Experience using Best Practice an advantage.
- Current CPR (BSL) Certificate.
- Previous GP experience preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer skills – sound knowledge.
