We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse (RN) to join our friendly team on a full-time basis. Flexibility to work across 7 days per week is required.

About the role
As a Practice Nurse at Balance! Edmonton Family Practice, you will play a key role in supporting our clinicians and patients to achieve optimal health outcomes. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day general practice nursing duties within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities

Chronic Disease Management.

Care Plans and Health Assessments.

Wound Care and Dressing.
-
Triage Management.
-
Treatment Room Assistance.
-
Patient Education and Support.
-
Stock Control, Maintenance, and Ordering.

Diagnostic Procedures (e.g. ECG, Spirometry).
About you
Essential requirements
-
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

Prior experience in a general practice or primary care setting.

Completion of Australian Government COVID-19 training modules.

Strong clinical assessment and triage skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Proficient in clinical software and computer use.

Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Desirable
-
Immunisation endorsement.

Pap smear provider registration.
