Northern Queensland Primary Health Network invites staff from residential aged care homes (RACHs) and general practices who are responsible for, or involved in, emergency disaster management and business continuity planning to attend a free disaster planning workshop.
Networking lunch (12pm-1pm)
Come early for a networking lunch and the opportunity to connect with other local RACHs and general practices.
Emergency planning workshop (1pm-5pm)
This workshop aims to equip RACHs and general practices with the knowledge and tools to confidently lead in emergency preparedness and planning.
Topics
- A facilitated scenario-based discussion with the Local Disaster Management Group, and other facilities, exploring considerations you may face during an emergency or disaster.
- Increasing awareness of local hazards and risks.
- Strengthening resilience networks across the primary care sector.
