Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) invites primary care practice staff working in the northern Queensland region to access funded Advanced First Aid training.
This course will:
- Provide practical simulated real-life situations to help participants build confidence in coordinating and managing emergency responses.
- Cover key skills such as recording casualty conditions, completing workplace incident documentation, and debriefing to identify areas for improvement, psychological impacts, and seeking help as required.
This course is delivered in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
Units being delivered:
- HLTAID014 Provide advanced first aid
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid
- HLTAID0010 Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
