Our Region, Our People: Meet Kaitlyn

Health Reimagined delivers the Access To Allied Psychological Services (ATAPS) in the far north Queensland, Cape and Torres regions on behalf of Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN).

Kaitlyn Matthews is Health Reimagined’s Access To Allied Psychological Services (ATAPS) Administration Officer and is dedicated to providing necessary support to deliver ATAPS services to those communities most in need of these services.

Throughout NQPHN’s footprint, Health Reimagined have successfully delivered 10,631 mental health sessions, 124 referral pathways developed and have delivered services to 77 locations around north Queensland.

There are currently 60 Health Reimagined contracted Psychologists/Mental Health Professionals delivering ATAPS services across north Queensland, with 3,121 ATAPS referrals received.

Health Reimagined has developed partnerships with Queensland Health (Torres & Cape and Cairns Hinterland Hospital and Health Services) to utilise facilities to deliver mental health sessions via video-link and telephone in the Torres and Cape region, as well as developing referral pathway opportunities and further ATAPS promotion to communities within the region.

These Videolink (Vidyo Licenses) provided by NQPHN have been set up at Queensland Health facilities in Thursday Island, Bamaga, Weipa, Darnley Island, and Cooktown.

E-Mental Health Resources, ATAPS Services and referral information is heavily promoted to all Queensland Health facilities, councils, schools and community centre within the Torres and Cape region as well as the Cairns and Hinterland region.

Strong referral pathways and partnerships have been developed with Queensland Health by Health Reimagined on behalf of NQPHN to improve mental health service delivery in communities that need it most.
