The role

Townsville Family Medical Centre is a mixed billing centre open Monday to Friday, with a strong patient base. The large and modern medical centre features 25 doctor consult rooms, excellent treatment room facilities, occupational health space with screening rooms, skin procedure rooms and allied health rooms. Our GPs provide multiple occupational health services and the centre is co-located with Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology, Sonic HealthPlus, and Australian Skin Cancer Clinics.

You’ll be joining a team of 13 doctors who have a great reputation within the local community. Our teams are very engaged and work collaboratively together to provide the best healthcare to our patients. Enjoy a supportive environment where our longstanding admin and nurse teams will help build and manage your practice. All our GPs are supported by full-time nurses, including dedicated Health Management Nurses.

Townsville Family Medical Centre has been a training practice for over 15 years and welcomes Registrars each semester. This is a fantastic opportunity for any GP interested in becoming a Supervisor to help shape the future of general practice. The centre is also in a DPA approved location, suitable for International Medical Graduates.
