National Reconciliation Week 2022

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network's (NQPHN's) staff embraced this year’s National Reconciliation Week theme ‘Be Brave. Make Change.’ on Djabugay, Yirriganydji, Yidinji, Bindal, Wulgurukaba, and Yuwi Country.

The week’s activities focused on the 1967 Referendum and the 30th Anniversary of Mabo Day, with staff recognising and reflecting on the significant dates through a time capsule activity, pledging change in writing on canvases, watching ABC podcast ‘Healing the trauma of the Stolen Generations’, and joining in the many NRW Indigenous cultural celebrations held across the NQPHN region.
