On 13 September every year World Sepsis Day is an opportunity for people across the world to raise awareness of the burden of sepsis.
The Queensland Sepsis Program is proud to host the following program:
- Caitlin Alsop, Sepsis Consumer, will share her unique story of survival from sepsis: “From Coma to Confidence”
- Case study/panel discussion expertly led by senior clinicians:
- Professor Bala Venkatesh, Queensland Sepsis Program, Adult Medical Co-Lead
- Professor Ian Scott, Director Internal Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology, Princess Alexandra Hospital
- Dr Kathryn Wilks, Queensland Sepsis Program, Infectious Diseases Clinical Lead
- Ms Celine Hill, Sepsis Clinical Nurse Consultant, Caboolture Hospital.
