Practice Nurse

Caneland Medical Centre is looking for a casual Registered Nurse/EEN. The clinic has six doctors and is an AGPAL accredited clinic, and is fully computerised using Best Practice Software and Hotdoc online services.

This nursing role will involve:

• childhood and adult and travel immunisation and venesection
• wound care
• ECG and spirometry
• management of cold chain and infection control systems
• GPMP , TCA Care Plan preparation
• recalls, reminders, and results
• general nursing duties 
• previous experience in general practice an advantage
• knowledge and confident computer skills
• current registration with AHPRA
• team player and communicator who can also work independently
• flexible work environment
• remuneration will depend on experience and qualifications.
