Join Northern Queensland Primary Health Network and GP facilitator A/Prof Paula Heggarty for a special general practice and Aboriginal Medical Service event that will explore funding initiatives, optimal care for residents in residential aged care, and opportunities for GPs and general practices.

This session will cover:

• federal initiatives in aged care
• clinical priorities in aged care from a geriatrician’s perspective
• perspectives from a GP working in aged care
• health reforms and general practice open forum
  • what can improve and make this space more inviting to GPs and their practice teams?

A two-course meal will be provided as part of this workshop.
