CarerHelp - Lunch and Learn

Brisbane North Primary Health Network (PHN) invites all health professionals to a free introductory session on CarerHelp.

CarerHelp is a National Palliative Care Project which provides information support to Australians caring for someone with an advanced disease.

CarerHelp has practical resources in ten different languages including topics such as how to care, self-care, services and supports, signs of dying, and bereavement. There are factsheets, useful templates, and videos of both carers sharing their experiences and health professionals explaining key topics.

This short session will provide an overview of the CarerHelp project and the key supports available, including the new resources for carers in rural and remote areas.

Brisbane North PHN is hosting this initial CarerHelp meeting event on behalf of all Queensland and Northern Territory PHNs.
