Located in Kuranda within the lush, tropical surrounds of Cairns, in Far North Queensland, Kuranda Medical Centre is an unofficial ANE (ruralist emergency medicine) servicing the wider community and Tablelands. The centre works closely with Queensland Health to deliver comprehensive healthcare focusing on chronic care, social and well-being, and Indigenous health. 

As a GP at Kuranda Medical Centre, you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse community. You’ll be part of a dedicated team of doctors who are committed to rural medicine and making a real difference in people’s lives. The centre provides experienced and professional nurses and receptionists, including two full time nurses who provide everyday support, are highly trained in wound care, perform highly complex wound dressings, and provide CDM management. 

Kuranda has six consultation rooms, two treatment rooms, and a nursing station. The centre offers co-located allied health services, including Steve King Dental Group, Sullivan Nicholaides Pathology, and Queensland Community Health.
