A General Practitioner (GP) is required for busy medical centre, located in the heart of Townsville.
Health & Wellbeing North Ward is looking for full or part-time VR-GP to join their team to help maintain the patient overflow.
The practice is conveniently located in the city of Townsville, close to The Strand, Pallarenda, Shopping Centre, and many local cafes and clothes boutiques.
Health & Wellbeing North Ward are a practice of six GPs and two registrars, with a Skin Clinic attached with three GPs. They have a great patient base, with an Aboriginal Health Nurse, Chronic Disease Management, Psychologist, Dietician, Exercise Physiologist, and Life Coach on staff.
The clinic is well equipped and has all good branded, working equipment, and is accredited with AGPAL.
The practice offers all aspects of general practice with a high focus on childhood and family health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and chronic disease management.
Health & Wellbeing North Ward understands the needs of doctors and believes in providing highly knowledgeable and efficient management, reception, and nursing teams to ensure that their doctors can work easily and more efficiently.
Are you a Registrar? They are Accredited by RACGP!
Please note that Health & Wellbeing North Ward are not in a DPA, so are unable to accept applications for overseas trained GPs requiring supervision, at this stage.
Essential criteria
- VR-GP FRACGP/FACRRM or equivalent.
- General registration.
- RACGP registrar.
- Eligible for a provider number.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
