Queensland Paediatric Sepsis Program
Please join the Paediatric Sepsis Series – Sepsis Mortality in Queensland Kids, part of a monthly series of online education sessions brought to you by the Queensland Paediatric Sepsis Program (QPSP).
The QPSP together with the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) have recently published the Queensland paediatric sepsis mortality study, Australia’s first population-based study to better understand the true incidence of childhood deaths from sepsis.
Join Dr. Paula Lister as she discusses the key findings of the study, including opportunities for practice improvements that can lead to better identification of sepsis in children, such as improving death records, increasing parents’ awareness of sepsis and symptoms, and strengthening sepsis recognition guidance and treatment within the primary care sector.
Register now to attend Monday 18th March, 1.30pm - 2.15pm, via Microsoft Teams.
We appreciate that the scheduled time will not suit everyone, however, we invite you to register and pre submit any questions you would like answered during the recorded session. You will then receive notification once the recording is available and you can watch ‘on demand’.
