Dr Paul Trott is a Consultant Psychiatrist, who has resided in Cairns working initially as the Clinical Director of the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit of The Cairns Base Hospital, from 1997 to 1999; and then started a full time private psychiatric practice.

Dr Trott Graduated in Medicine in 1987 in New Zealand at the Otago University and completed his psychiatric training in 1996 at the University of Queensland. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1996.

Dr Trott’s special interests include:
General adult psychiatry, Mood and anxiety disorders, Consultation liason psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, Alcohol and drugs.
