Well Balanced Care is seeking a full time Rural Generalist Community Occupational Therapist to join their team in Edmonton, Cairns.

Well Balanced Care (WBC) is a Cairns based business that offers allied health assessments and therapy to a wide range of community clients, both locally and in rural and remote communities. WBC are committed to a multi-disciplinary person-centred model utilising emerging and existing technologies to assist clients, their family and community to achieve their goals.

Due to a period of growth WBC are seeking suitably qualified professional Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic team. They are excited to support the successful candidate toward becoming a rural generalist through the allied health rural generalist pathway.

The Allied Health Rural Generalist Pathway

This role encompasses participation in the Allied Health Rural Generalist (AHRG) pathway. Depending on your experience, you will be funded to complete the Level 1 or Level 2 (Graduate Diploma) education with James Cook University. Through this work-integrated learning program you will be provided with time at work for study, dedicated structured supervision and support, and a unique opportunity to work with WBC’s multidisciplinary team contributing to a service development project.
