About the role

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional care in a supportive and dynamic environment. This part-time opportunity includes key responsibilities such as:

  • support our surgeons in providing exceptional patient care
  • enquiries - answer patient phone enquiries and enquiries from hospital staff and other doctor’s rooms
  • work alongside our secretaries to provide information to patients about the operative process
  • liaise with medical company representatives regularly and order equipment for operations as required
  • liaise with theatre bookings 
  • post-operative clinic attendance with surgeons including wound management.

Skills and experience

  • Current Nurse Registration with AHPRA.
  • At least two (2) years of Australian work experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • Proven experience using clinical IT systems.
  • Experience in wound management and hospital bookings is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to communicate in a clear, considerate manner.
  • A professional, caring, and collaborative approach to patient care.
