Demystifying Dementia course (Session two)

NQPHN, together with Dementia Training Australia invite general practitioners and nurses working within the NQPHN region to attend this two-part webinar series. (Session one will be held on Wednesday 11 September 2024)

The Demystifying Dementia online course provides a practical and step-wise approach to improving knowledge, skills, and confidence in recognising, diagnosing, and managing dementia in the general practice setting.

Session two learning outcomes

• Identify and address modifiable risk factors to help prevent, delay the onset, and slow the progression of dementia.
• Recognise the changing goals of care with the progression of dementia.
• Implement an effective management plan for people living with dementia.
