Advance Care Planning workshop

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network invite all healthcare professionals across the northern Queensland region to attend an interactive breakfast session on advance care planning.

Topics:

• Introduction to advance care planning
• Why bother? The importance of advance care planning
• Hospital doctors’ perspectives on advance care plans.

Presenter:

• Dr Denise Craig – Advance Care Planning Liaison Officer, Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

This session will provide a platform to ask questions and network with other healthcare professionals in the region. Participants are encouraged to submit any questions at time of registration to ensure the presentation addresses GP needs.

This session can be attended virtually by selecting the videoconference option at time of registration.

Breakfast will be provided.
