2022 SCTMC and Inaugural Tropical Medicine Conference

The Australasian College of Tropical Medicine are excited to announce the 5th Southern Cross Travel Medicine Meeting and the Inaugural Southern Cross Tropical Medicine Conference!

Come and listen to international experts on travel medicine and tropical medicine, and participate in interactive workshops.

We invite all doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other health professionals working in the field of travel and tropical medicine, general practice, military medicine, occupational health, infectious diseases and related fields throughout the region to take full advantage of all the professional development opportunities offered at SCTMC 2022. It is also an opportunity to network with colleagues, including the international and national invited speakers, and enjoy as much as possible of our fabulous host city of Brisbane and the of State of Queensland.

Travel Medicine

Travel vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, disease outbreaks, practical workshops.

Tropical Medicine

Neglected tropical diseases, malaria, clinical case studies.

One Health workshop

Zoonotic diseases, and the impact of environment on emergence and transmission.

Research

Researchers and students will be invited to submit abstracts on tropical medicine and travel medicine. Networking sessions for students and early career researchers

ACTM Members are entitled to a discount on conference registration fees.

Discounted rates are available for five or more registrations as group booking - please contact Jennifer Burgess for further information regarding booking via sctmc@amaq.com.au

Students will be required to present their Student ID at the registration table.

Registration includes a ticket to the Welcome Reception on the Pool Deck with drinks and canapes on Friday evening.
