Paediatric Masterclass

The second session of the Paediatrics Masterclass series delivered in partnership with the Queensland Children's Hospital.

10-15 per cent of children have functional abdominal pain at some point. Similarly, Functional Somatic symptoms are common in children with psychological distress. These groups can be challenging to assess and manage, particularly in striking a balance between investigation for tissue damaging contributors to symptoms and making a diagnosis of a functional disorder to facilitate treatment. This interactive session brings an expert panel together to help you optimise your approach.
