Harbour Road Medical (HRM) is a General Practice and Occupational Medicine clinic established 35 years ago in North Mackay, locally owned by the Business Manager.

HRM boast a strong patient base and thriving demand for GP services. The practice is well positioned for strong and sustainable growth into the future. The practice is situated in North Mackay in a recently renovated facility with a modern, spacious feel. 

All areas of the clinic are disability friendly. The clinic caters to patients of all ages and ethnicities. HRM offers all aspects of family medicine and the team is committed to whole person approach. Services include but are not limited to childhood immunisations, chronic disease management, health assessments, workplace/preventative health vaccinations, Workcover, minor procedures, and excisions.

Harbour Road Medical is a registered travel clinic with Travel Clinics Australia carrying on-site travel vaccinations and a subscription to up-to-date travel health alerts. The incoming GP will be supported by two nurses, four administration staff, a Practice Manager, and a Business Manager. The team enjoys a friendly, relaxed working environment and tend to stay long-term as a result.

HRM are a mixed billing practice with emphasis on private billing. Bulk billing is offered to children under 12. Reduced rates for Health Care and Pension card holders. Travel consultations are privately billed regardless of concession cards.
