About the role
The role will be responsible for identifying and triaging suitable patients and providing front-line care while working alongside our General Practitioners.
Duties include
- Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments to efficiently triage patients.
- Deliver high-quality patient care and take decisive actions for patients requiring emergency attention or experiencing health deterioration.
- Offer healthcare-related education to patients as needed.
- Complete all documentation accurately and promptly.
To be considered you must have the following:
- A clinical background in Urgent Care/ Emergency Care or Rural General Practice.
- Providing compassion, empathy and understanding to patients and their families whilst maintaining a professional approach.
- Be a team player with strong critical thinking skills, who can work both independently and collaboratively in our dynamic team environment.
- Effective time management and prioritisation
- Flexibility to work across all shifts/days.
- Current ALS/CPR
- AHPRA Registration.
