Supporting Deaf individuals with complex needs in mental health

The Deafness and Mental Health Service is delivering a highly recommended online clinical workshop for mental health professionals to put skills, knowledge, and cultural awareness into practice when responding to the needs of deaf individuals with mental health issues.

This all-day advanced clinical workshop includes a case study and an assessment practice.

Clinicians have an opportunity to join an online workshop, that aims to put skills and knowledge into practice when responding to the needs of Deaf individuals presenting with mental health issues.

Free prerequisite courses: Deafness and Mental Health Introduction and Deafness and Mental Health Intermediate, via iLearn or https://qheps.health.qld.gov.au/ilearn for those who do not have access to iLearn.
