Course overview
The aim of the activity is to increase the GPs’ knowledge and understanding of dermoscopy in the diagnosis of skin cancer through reviewing, recognising and differentiating between views and techniques according to the learning outcomes.
Learning outcomes

Apply dermoscopy and algorithms to effectively reduce and minimise unnecessary excisions in patients.

Use dermoscopy to identify Basel cell Carcinomas (BCC) and Melanomas.

Apply dermoscopy and review different algorithms, mainly the three Point Checklist, to identify potential malignant skin lesions.

Identify the difference between dermoscopic view versus clinical view.

Use dermoscopy to recognise and differentiate benign versus malignant lesions.
