RN Community Care

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality person-centered clinical services that facilitate positive health and well-being outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • client care (wound management, continence and catheter care, medication management)
  • assessment, care planning, and review
  • risk management
  • client and staff support and education
  • managing complaints and feedback
  • conducting audits and evaluating improvements
  • ensuring clinical documentation is up to date
  • overseeing policies and guidelines in collaboration with the CEO.

Requirements you hold

  • AHPRA Registration
  • National Police Check
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Queensland Driver’s License
  • Experience in an aged care or community environment (preferred)
  • Understanding and knowledge of clinical governance and quality management systems (or willingness to learn)

  • Strong assessment skills for developing individualised care plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and healthcare professionals.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
