Sonic HealthPlus are seeking a Graduate or experienced Registered Nurse to join their team at their Mackay Clinic in Queensland, on a permanent full time basis, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Nurse to further develop their skills within a supportive environment, or for an experienced nurse to apply their skills within a knowledgeable and multidisciplinary team.

About the role

Sonic HealthPlus are seeking a Graduate or experienced Registered Nurse to join their team at their Mackay Clinic in Queensland, on a permanent full time basis, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Nurse to further develop their skills within a supportive environment, or for an experienced Nurse to apply their skills within a knowledgeable and multidisciplinary Team.

Duties

Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of services including however not limited to:

  • high-level nursing skills to work autonomously
  • patient triage
  • administering vaccinations and travel consultations
  • monitoring and maintaining stock levels
  • maintenance and sterilisation of all equipment
  • compliance with the Department of Health and Human Service's protocols
  • general administration duties
  • phlebotomy.

Candidate requirements 

As the successful candidate you will hold a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) together with:

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • current Senior First Aid certification, CPR certification, or equivalent (required)
  • Certificate in Phlebotomy (desirable) 
  • current Immunisation Certificate (desirable).
