Located in the lively Parkside Plaza Shopping Centre, The Doctors Mackay is seeking a Practice Nurse.

The hours of work between Tuesdays 8am – 5pm, with possible relief work if available.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional practice nurse to join our team.

Relationships and communication with our patients is the heart of our practice.

Criteria:

Essential:

Registered nurse: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Adaptable and open to change and innovation
Current CPR & First Aid certificates

Desirable:

Previous experience in General Practice, but not essential
Knowledge of childhood and adult immunisations
Experience in chronic disease management
Computer skills (previous experience in Best Practice would be highly desirable but not essential)
Ability to multi-task with workflow of a treatment room
