Mackay mental health co-design session

Posted Monday 25 November 2024 | NQPHN

Across the North Queensland region, Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) commissions mental health stepped care services to support people with low, moderate, and high intensity mental health needs.

Following an independent review of these services, NQPHN is co-designing a new model of stepped care with a focus on improving access, transitions in care, and integration.

Co-design sessions in May will focus on people experiencing moderate mental health needs. In the current system, these people are supported by access to psychological therapies.

People with a lived experience of mental health challenges, carers, psychological service providers, other mental health service providers, GPs, and other stakeholders are invited to register for co-design sessions.

Your participation in these sessions will help to ensure services are designed to truly meet local needs.
