This month we are focusing on: A local perspective of tropical infectious diseases.
Dr Josh Hanson is an Infectious Diseases and General Physician at Cairns Hospital. He has been involved in clinical research in Infectious Diseases since 2006. Josh has an interest in the clinical management of infectious diseases in the resource poor setting, and coordinates medical outreach programmes to Indigenous communities on Cape York. Josh will update us on the local perspectives of tropical infectious diseases.
Dr Jacqui Murdoch, Director of Public Health, Cairns will update us with 5 slides in 5 minutes.
