GP Insight Series: Skin Cancer Uncovered

Posted Thursday 17 October 2024 | JCU North Queensland Regional Training Hubs

Australia is recognised internationally as having the “gold standard” for skin cancer screening and detection, and the majority of this is led by skilled GPs. In the rapidly advancing field of skin cancer medicine, it is important for GPs to be up to date with the latest developments to ensure patients receive the best possible care.

The number of skin cancers is predicted to vastly increase by 2030 with an ageing Gen X, and it is nationally recognised that GPs will shoulder the majority of this clinical responsibility.

JCU’s Northern Queensland Regional Training Hubs (NQRTH) warmly invite you to our GP community education event - facilitated by Skin Cancer Specialist and GP A/Prof Jeremy Hudson, Chair of RACGP Specific Interests Dermatology, and Dr Paula Heggarty.
